Kitchen Rental Space Requirements

 Renter must be able to furnish answers to questions such as:

  1. How long is the rental for?
  2. How many people or personnel will use the rented kitchen space?
  3. What type of food items will be prepared?
  4. What kinds of equipment will be needed?


  1. Documentary evidence of Commercial Liability Insurance - listing Effie's Place as beneficiary/certificate holder
  2. Refundable deposit of $400 for single use, and $880.00 for multiple uses
  3. Non-Refundable deposit of $50.00 as administrative charges
  4. Present a copy of current food handling certificate
  5. Must use premises for a minimum of 4 hours per day
  6. Premises are closed on Sundays
  7. Where the rental is for one raw kitchen space, a maximum of 4 people only including the renter will be permitted on the premises to use the facility. 

Price Quotes:

  1. $45.00 per hour (1 raw kitchen rental space) - one stove, one convection oven, and one kettle
  2. $150 per hour (a whole kitchen rental space) plus $15.00 per hour supervisory fee
    This plan does not include the use of industrial ovens and mixers
  3. Cold room storage (refrigeration) is $10.00 per day per shelf or speed rack.
  4. Large volume storage may attract a flat rate of $50.00 per day.
